The 23-year-old, who is also an IT manager at North West Vending, in St Helens, said: “I am a current Face Of The World finalist and this is a major premium competition, one which I am very proud and excited to be a part of.
“People fly in from all over the world to compete and represent their country. On the day we go through different scenarios, such as commercial shoots, group photos, a magazine shoot and runway walking. There is an online poll and we also get a final score on how we performed.
“To get this far in the competition is a great achievement. I have been a finalist for a few competitions in the past - I was a top 40 finalist in Bluebeards Revenge, a male grooming brand which worked with Orchid Male Cancer, but this is the next level.
“If I was to win, I would be represented by a top management firm in London and America. It would open myself up for more opportunities, as I have never done any work on a global scale.
“I have been modelling since I was 16 and I was signed to EKA and started working with the BBC on small productions. It started off as a hobby, but now I am hoping for a full time career in modelling.
“I have since gone on to work with Debenhams, Toni & Guy and last year worked alongside Joe Hart in one of the Head & Shoulders commercials.
“This year I was the male model for a newly signed Manchester based band which the single Take It Back was released August 7. I also have a role in a small short film confirmed and have other amazing opportunities in the pipeline.”
Kristian will compete in the competition on September 5.
