RESIDENTS of Knowsley are being given the chance to have their say on how their neighbourhood is developed.
Knowsley’s Local Development Framework is currently being discussed with residents, and all households have been sent a leaflet summarising the proposals.
The plan will shape the way Knowsley develops to 2027 and beyond, including the potential to create more than 7,000 new homes and increase employment opportunities for local people.
Coun Dave Lonergan, Knowsley Council’s cabinet member for regeneration, economy and skills, said: “We would urge residents to take the time to look over this document as it sets out how and where future development in Knowsley will take place.
“Everyone is encouraged to ask questions and make comments to help us set in place a blueprint for the future that will make Knowsley a better, more prosperous and more attractive place to live.”
The leaflet provides residents with a feedback form which will be considered as the council drafts the final plan.
Alternatively, residents can view the Preferred Options report in full on the council’s website at: www.knowsley.gov.uk/LDF or at any of the council’s one stop shops or libraries.

A Facebook page has also been set up for residents who wish to discuss the proposals. Search Facebook for “Help Plan Knowsley”.
