Great business

MEETING at 10.00am to talk business may not seem to be the most productive time.

However, a group of local businesses do just that each week and between them have generated more than £129,000 worth of business since July 2011.

The BNI (Business Networking) group who meet every Friday morning to network with other local businesses, are keen to extend the BNI philosophy of ‘Giver’s Gain’ to other local businesses.

Chapter Director Keith Hyland explained, “Networking through the BNI is a powerful way for our members to market their products or services and find new business opportunities.

“The BNI works on the principle of ‘Giver’s Gain’, whereby if I give you business, you’ll give me business in return and we’ll both benefit.

“The proof of this philosophy is really in the fantastic number of referrals that have been given to generate this amount of business for each other particularly in the current economic downturn.

“We are holding a FREE coffee morning NOW (Friday, February 3 at The Park Inn, St Helens from 9.45am to 11.45am and would encourage local businesses to attend and hear our stories first hand.

“You never know what business you can pick up from just being in the right place at the right time!”
