Council chiefs have laid on a series of running groups to help people get in tip-top shape ahead of the St Helens 10k.
Staffed by qualified Run England staff, the runs will take place every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm and between 7am and 8am on Saturday, January 23 and Saturday, February 13.
The runs start at Queens Park Health and Fitness, and Selwyn Jones Sports Centre.
This year’s St Helens 10k is on Sunday, March 6.
Runs are suitable for people aged 16 and over and those taking part in the evening sessions must wear hi vis clothing.
