Six people arrested on gun and drugs possession charges have been released on police bail.
The arrests followed a raid on a house in Wyresdale Avenue in Windle on Wednesday.
Officers found a stash of cannabis and a hand gun during a search of the premises.

All six have been released without charge on police bail.

“I would encourage members of the public to share any information they have in relation to gun crime. You can be confident that we will act on all information and the information provided, no matter how small, could lead officers to recovering a gun.
