The funeral has taken place of popular St Helens man, Raymond Burrows.
Mr Burrows, who was known to family and friends as Ray, worked for the transport department at British Gas.
He died peacefully on December 12 while in Tenerife with his beloved wife, Margaret.
The devoted couple, who lived in Billinge, had been married for 48 years.
He leaves two sons, Alan and Craig, daughters-in-law Nicola and Lesley and grandchildren, Tom, Ben, Sam, Charlie and Isla.
His funeral was held on January 2 at St David’s Church, in Clinkham Wood.
