Donate a Christmas toy for children in hospital

Make Christmas special for a child in hospital

CHRISTMAS may still be a few weeks away, but the St Helens Reporter is today urging our readers to get into the festive spirit early and donate to our Christmas Toy Appeal.

We will be collecting new and nearly new toys throughout December and then delivering them to poorly children stuck in hospital over the festive period.

In previous years, we’ve collected sackfuls of festive treats for unfortunate youngsters who, for various reasons, have been forced to spend part of the Christmas season in hospital.

Donating toys to our appeal couldn’t be easier.

Just bring your donation along to the Reporter’s Claughton Street office in St Helens office anytime during office hours between Monday to Friday.

We plan to load up the Reporter sleighs in the days just before Christmas Day and head up to Whiston Hospital to help brighten up the childrens ward.

Reporter readers can help by giving whatever they can; whether it is large or small your donate will make a real difference to a poorly child this Christmas.

You can help put a smile on their face.

We need toys - large and small - for children of all ages to make our Christmas Toy Appeal a roaring success. Keep a look out in the Reporter over the coming for updates on how the appeal is going and then we’ll bring pictures from our deliveries in our Christmas edition.

To help, bring your toys to the St Helens Reporter office, Bank House, Claughton Street, St Helens, WA10 1RL.
