A Rainford man has been fined after breaching a court order to keep his dogs under control.
Peter Woods, 65, was given the community protection notice in June last year.
But St Helens Magistrates Court heard he breached the order just weeks later.
He was brought before the court but was finally dealt with earlier this month.
Woods, of the Golden Lion Hotel, Church Road, Rainford, was fined £440 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44.
He was found guilty in his absence and also ordered to pay costs of £869.98
Woods’ original community protection order instructed him to ‘ensure that any dogs under your control or ownership are kept under proper control at all times, to ensure that they do not stray, harass, frighten or endanger anyone’.
