Thomas Brown was jailed for 28 days for stealing toothpaste

Kelly Nixon, (45), Adelaide Avenue, Thatto Heath - pleaded guilty to stealing £140 in cash.

Danielle Cole, (22), Mendip Grove, Parr - failed to comply with the requirement of a community order: £100 court costs, £50 fine.

Anthony Mills, (43), Glamorgan Close, St Helens: dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention of stolen goods - six months community order, £50 fine, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 court costs.

Joseph Knockton, (19), Grange Park Road, St Helens: failed to surrender to bail - £50 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £150 court charge.

Christopher Sherwood, (27), Lucas Court, Rainhill: assault by beating - 12 months community order, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 court costs.
