The service is being run by the college by School Lettings Solutions, the UK’s leading provider of a dedicated school lettings service.

The company will now manage the after-hours use of the college and bookings, as well as marketing the facilities for private use.

Gym membership starts at £6.99 with no annual contract.

The sixth form and adult education college is also available to hire for theatre groups and productions, events, conferences, educational classes, and sports groups.

Working with a company like School Lettings Solutions provides schools and colleges with an opportunity to generate additional income, helping to maintain facilities and fund improvements that benefit the whole community.

Paul Andrews, director at School Lettings Solutions said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with St Helens College.

“This is a great opportunity for local people to make use of the fantastic facilities outside of traditional school hours, learn a new skill, get fit or further their education.”
