Bosses at St Helens College have lined up a series of events to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week.
National Apprenticeship Week - which started on Monday - celebrates the benefits that apprenticeships can have on individuals, businesses and the local economy.
Apprenticeships are an excellent alternative to the traditional route of A-levels or technical and professional courses. They combine the opportunity to gain extensive work experience whilst also gaining a work-related qualification.
With varying levels, apprentices gain progress up to the equivalent of a degree level qualification, allowing them to develop the
theoretical knowledge to match their comprehensive industry experience.
St Helens College are proud providers of a huge range of apprenticeship training.
Working closely with both local businesses and national organisations, the College strives to ensure that young people throughout the borough and the surrounding areas are able to access an excellent range of apprenticeship vacancies.
