Church volunteers were certainly reading from the same page after raising money for charity by holding a book sale. Parish Church co-ordinator, Russell Hartley, and his team of helpers raised a total of £119 for the Mayor’s Appeal charity, Autism and Aspergers Group, by selling over 238 books.

Mayor Geoff Pearl was there to oversee the event that generated a significant amount of money to help a worthwhile cause. Why not call in at the Parish Church for coffee mornings, held on Monday, Friday, and Saturdays between 9.30am and 12pm.
