SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20: The Women’s Confraternity at English Martyrs Church in Haydock is holding an afternoon tea, nearly new sale and bingo in the church hall on Chapel Street from 2pm. Admission costs £1.50.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 22: Christ Church in Haydock is holding a charity auction for the Kisii Orphanage in Kenya. Items on offer include a signed Pele shirt.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23: Jubilate Praise will perform Two Sisters and a Funeral at St Mark’s Church, West End Road, Haydock, from 7.30pm. Admission is free.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27: New Street Methodist Church in Sutton stages a concert by the New Street Singers. Doors open at 7pm and admission (which includes a hotpot supper) costs £5.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14: Earlestown Baptist Church on Crown Street is holding a free craft workshop aimed at five to 10-year-old from 4.45pm to 6.15pm. Funded by Children In Need, tutors will teach a host of art activities designed to spark childrens’ creativity.
EVERY MONDAY: St Helens Bible Study Group meets at Central Library from 6pm.
