thursday, march 15: St John The Baptist Church, Earlestown, have started a new Lynk-Up Group for those in the community who may have lost someone close, or are just feeling lonely or unable to cope. friday, march 16: Chirst Church United Reform Church holds a brass band concert with Wigan Youth from 7.30pm. Admission costs £4.

saturday, march 17: St James’ Church in Haydock are hosting an international choir concert, featuring Warrington Male Voice Choir and the Australian Welsh Male Choir.
