FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: St Helens Christian Life Centre, Atherton Street, hold a gospel cabaret evening. With singer-songwriter Ellen Lockwood and Gary Gibbs of Elim’s Evangelism Director. Doors open at 7.15pm and a buffet will be served at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3. More details from 01744 617148.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29: A special Mass of thanksgiving for the life and ministry of Fr Ignatius Spencer CP, who lived and worked in Sutton between 1846 and 1864, will be celebrated in St Anne and Blessed Dominic Church at 6.30pm. All welcome.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30: Prescot Parish Church, Church Street, Prescot. hosts an organ recital. This is the eight annual organ recital by Parish Organist Tim Hall. The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £3 on the door.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2: The 51st annual rosary procession takes place from Church Square at 2.45pm. This will be a family rosary procession and will make its way to Lowe House Church for benediction.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9: The Lyndale Singers perform at Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church from 6.30pm. Admission is free.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12: The Celebration Choir will perform at the Sutton Oak Welsh Chapel, Lancotts Lane, Sutton, from 7pm to raise money for Willowbrook Hospice. Tickets priced £2 from 01744 25185.
