Bushes set on fire in Marshalls Cross

Crews from St Helens were called out after set fire to bushes in Marshalls Cross.

Firefighters attended the scene at Chester Lane in Marshalls Cross at around 3.40pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The fire involved bushes at the side of a road.

It is suspected that the fire was started deliberately.

Two fire appliances were called out and firefighters were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
