A second man has been arrested in connection with the hit and run crash which killed four-year-old Violet-Grace Youens.
The 27-year-old was detained today (Monday) following widespread appeals to catch two men seen fleeing the Prescot Road incident on Friday.
He is currently being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Earlier today, a 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being carried in a stolen vehicle.
Violet-Grace and her grandmother Angela French, were mown down in a hit and run incident on Friday afternoon.
