A St Helens beauty queen has won a place in the grand final of a national beauty pageant.
Bethany Cammack will contest the first ever UK Power Pageant.
The 19-year-old model and make-up artists beat off competition from across the UK to be named as one of the grand finalists.
Bethany has won the title of Miss Merseyside International, and will now take part in the UK Power Pageant at the Park Hall Hotel in Lancashire this July which will see eight national beauty queens being crowned.
These will be; Miss International UK, Miss Grand England, Scotland, and Wales, Miss Intercontinental England, Scotland, & Wales, and World Supermodel UK.
Bethany has recently qualified as a make-up artist and now works for Urban Decay Cosmetics. Bethany has also received The Diana Award for all of the community and charity work she does, she recently completed a swimathon in aid of the Power Pageants chosen charity – The Christie!
At the UK finals, the contestants will take part in two days of exciting activities including; the Beauty Queen Bootcamp, a British Afternoon Tea, a PJ Party, photoshoots, and the grand final itself.
Holly Pirrie, the director of the competition, said: “I am thrilled to have Bethany as one of our finalists. We are looking forward to meeting all of the contestants in July!”
All eight winners will be flown to their international final where they will compete against women from all over the world in the hopes of winning an international crown.
