STAFF from a Prescot business helped clear up a piece of land at Formby Beach.
Six members of staff from Johnson Cleaners, who head office is in Prescot, volunteered to help out at the National Trust site.
They spent the day getting their hands dirty clearing heathland at the site.
Garry Knox, environmental brand manager for Johnson Cleaners, explained: “As a company we are constantly striving to improve our green credentials but it’s also important for us to give something back to our local environment too.
“A member of staff highlighted that they had done some work with the National Trust in the past and the company agreed that it would be a valuable and worthwhile cause to support.”
