YOUNGSTERS Katie Richards and Abigail Duncan bagged some real bargains when they arrived for the Earlestown Market fun day.
Katie (right) won a £50 voucher to spend at the market while Abigail won a barbecue and accessories – donated by retailer Wilkinsons. Both competitions were staged to mark the fun day.
Town crier Barry McQueen opened proceedings as entertainers helped showcase the range of top quality local and regional available at the market. A clown double act, face painting and Punch and Judy show were just some of the attractions for young and old alike.
The event was supported by Earlestown Market traders and St.Helens Council’s Be Local - Buy Local campaign.
