Council chiefs are searching for relatives of a 40-year-old man who died in the town centre.
Steven James Atkinson, who was born on August 22, 1975, passed away at his home address but no relatives have yet come forward.
Council officials believe he had an aunt who moved from St Helens to Wigan some years ago and are appealing for her or anyone who knows her to come forward.
Mr Atkinson’s funeral has been arranged for Monday, March 7, taking place at 11.30am
at St Helens Crematorium.
