ST Helens College has spent £56m on its brand new campus, making sure they have world class facilities, classrooms and workshops.
The college’s town centre location means many shops and restaurants are just next door, lots of which offer student discount.
Students can choose to study from a range of vocational subjects where they will learn in a practical, hands-on way.
These are often BTEC qualifications, and when studied at level three are A level equivalent.
Subjects students can choose from vary from animal care, cabin crew, through to graphic design, horticulture and sport.
New this year, students may also have the option to study an A-level alongside your vocational qualification.
This provides a mix of both practical and academic study whilst providing the opportunity to gain more UCAS points if the student’s aim is to move on to university.
The college prides itself on the support that if offers each individual student.
This can be anything from help with dyslexia or other learning needs, to financial guidance and careers advice.
The college also has a health and wellbeing team who can offer a range of support services.
Whatever a student wants to do and wherever they want to go, St Helens College is your next step.
