A foul offence

A DOG owner was fined £50 for allowing his dog to foul in a public place in Queens Park.

Brendan Brownbill, of Dentons Green Lane, St Helens, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 plus £275 costs.

Brownbill was found guilty in his absence by Knowsley magistrates (on Monday 6 February) of offences under the Dogs Fouling of Land Act. The offence was witnessed by a St Helens Council’s dog wardens.
