Wizard of Oz comes to St Helens

The Wizard of Oz lands in St Helens next week ... just in time for the school half-term holiday.

Following sell-out seasons in 2013 and 2014, Regal Entertainments’ enchanting production of The Wizard of Oz returns to St Helens Theatre Royal from Saturday, October 24 to Sunday, November 1.

Starring Charlotte Gallagher (Snow White and Peter Pan) as Dorothy and Radio City’s Claire Simmo as Glinda, this magical show is sure to put a smile on the faces of even the Wicked Witch of the West!

The panto also stars Philip McGuinness as the scarecrow, Mark Allen as the Tinman, Simon Foster as the Lion, Charlie Griffiths as the Wicked Witch, Jason Bacon as the Wizard and not forgetting our four legged thespian, the adorable Simba as Toto!

So if you’re stuck for ideas over the October half term, click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy, and her little dog Toto, as they journey along the Yellow Brick Road through the magical Land of Oz to meet the Wizard, so that he can make their wishes come true.

Watch out for the Wicked Witch and get ready for a whole lot of family fun as this fantastic tale is reawakened once more.
