Prescot Shopping Centre will be holding a warm festive remembrance afternoon at the Centre Called Light up a Life on Saturday (November 23).
The public of Prescot will be welcome to come into the centre between 1pm and 2pm and write a tag of dedication to hang on the Centre’s Christmas tree – for a loved one that is no longer here.
The event is a celebration of life and is about remembering loved ones in the festive period. Whilst Carols will be sung and mince pies will be passed round.
The community of Prescot will be able to get together and light up a life.
Prescot Shopping Centre’s supervisor Loraine Blackhurst said: “Christmas is a time for celebration, but for those who have lost loved ones, it can also be a time of reflection. Our Light up a Life event is the perfect way to remember those who are no longer here with us.”
