A theatrical production of the famed socialist novel, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, is to be performed at St Helens Central Library.

St Helens Theatre Company Costal Productions will present their adaptaton of Robert Tressell’s classic 1914 novel about a group of painters and decorators.

Meanwhile, on November 27, St Helens Central Library will also host Still Ragged, a 75 minute documentary by Liverpool independent film Company Shut Out The Light.
