IF you’re a rugby league follower - and a Saints fan in particular - you can’t afford to miss the World of Glass’s latest free exhibition.
As the town’s famous club gets ready to move to its new ground, Oh When The Saints tells the colourful story of its past successes and takes a look at the future.
And there’s lots of fun too.
“If you fancy a photo of yourself with Saints star James Graham, we have a life-size cut-out you can pose with,” says Hannah Longworth of The World of Glass.
“We’ve also aimed to capture something of club’s special atmosphere with a dressing room scene and a Goodbye Knowsley Road section devoted to the old ground.
“There are also pictures from the old board room and plenty of action shots of some of the most popular Saints stars over the years.”
For the exhibition the club has also loaned some of its archive treasures, including some of the major trophies it has collected down the years.
Themes highlighted in the special cases include We Are The Champions, The French Connection, Testimonial Years, Top 17, We Are The Saints and Super League kits, home and away.
Oh When The Saints runs at The World of Glass until Sunday, November 13.
