Comedy fans will get the chance to visit the Temple of Daft when a successful TV funnyman brings his latest UK tour to St Helens.

Milton Jones, who has appeared in shows such as Mock the Week and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, will appear at the Theatre Royal in November.

The appearance is one of a string of autumn dates which have been added to the tour by popular demand, but fans will need to move fast to snap up their seats as tickets are already on sale.

The Temple of Daft follows Milton on a madcap journey in the footsteps of his great-uncle, the explorer Sir Randolph Digby-Jones, blending a side-splitting narrative with his trademark array of ridiculous gags, multi-coloured shirts and big hair.

Milton said he was inspired to base the new show around an Indiana Jones-influenced surreal archaeology story as he wanted to bring more of the style of his radio comedy to a stage audience.

Milton has become known for his fast-paced style which can see him cram up to 250 jokes into a single show.

Milton Jones’ show The Temple of Daft will be at the Theatre Royal on November 11. Tickets are on sale now by ringing 0844 844 0444.
