Wednesday, November 18:

The next meeting of the St Helens Group of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) takes place between 6.30pm and 8pm in room eight of St Helens Town Hall. Some staff from the Rheumatology Team at St Helens Hospital will talk about the Self Management of RA. Refreshments will be provided. The meeting is free and people who have rheumatoid arthritis, their family, carers and friends are all very welcome.

Wednesday, November 18:

International recording artists Foster and Allen are bringing their 40th Anniversary Tour to the UK this October and November. Celebrating 40 years together in the music business they will be performing a string of their hits at the St Helens Theatre Royal.

Friday, November 20

Twenty First Century Music Hall The Duckie crew arrive in St Helens at the Citadel to present an evening of up-to-the-minute show business and vanguard variety. Mistress of melody Miss Amy Lamé introduces a hit parade of short sharp performance and in-between the acts plays pure pop, rock’n’roll and northern soul. Looking for a great night out? Friday, November 20

A two-hour up lifting Rock ‘n’ Roll show that will have you dancing in the isles to all the favourites from Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley. A sensitive tribute by Tim Harwood to the British King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Billy Fury with songs … I Will , Another You , I Believe , and Halfway to Paradise. The show is at the St Helens Theatre.

Monday, December 7

The UK’s leading comedy/folk group – The Houghton Weavers – visit the St Helens Theatre Royal as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Comprising Tony Berry, David Littler and Steve Millington, the band have – in their four decades together – recorded over 30 albums, and have seven of their own BBC television series plus six BBC Radio 2 series to their name.
