Today, we want to hear about schools which organise exceptional school trips which empower students to discover new ways of learning and provide inspirational experiences.

If this sounds like your school, then nominate them for the Educational Tours Award, sponsored by WST Travel.

This award category will recognise schools who involve students of varying abilities and from different backgrounds, developing their confidence. Consideration will also be given to the delivery of learning objectives which generate an increased enthusiasm for the subject

Last year’s winning school was Rainhill High School who provide excellent enrichment opportunities for its students with wide range of trips and activities. These included a skiing trip to Austria, a visit to the battlefields of Belgium and a trip to London to take in a West End musical and the Royal Ballet School.

WST is an educational tour operator, based in Blackpool. Our destinations range from the UK and Europe to the USA. WST is about helping teachers take students out of the classroom to enjoy new experiences and cultures.

We provide a tailor made experience with exceptional customer service from beginning to end. Along with the National Education Business Awards where we annually sponsor the award for best school trip, we are delighted to support Education Awards in the North West. There is no better way to discover more about how education is developing and changing in our region than meeting with teachers at these events. It’s a pleasure to reward teachers and their students for participating in and benefiting from ‘Learning Outside the Classroom.’
