Indie rock legend Bill Ryder Jones will be performing in St Helens on Friday ... in the town’s library.

As part of the Get it Loud in Libraries programme - funded by Arts Council England - former lead guitarist and co-founder of popular Liverpool band, The Coral - Bill Ryder Jones will be performing at Central Library.

West Kirkby born Bill, who has performed worldwide during this time with The Coral and played some of the biggest music festivals including Glastonbury, will perform a collection of his own songs and instrumental pieces from his first two albums, ‘If’ and ‘A Bad Wind Blows in My Heart’ on Friday, October 30 and give the audience a taste of his new album, ‘West Kirby County Primary, which will be released in November.

Doors open at 8pm and the gig will be suitable for all ages.
