Small Wonders Haydock, Thatto Heath and Peasley Cross have been promoting World Continence week with the Paediatric continence team.

Parents at the nursery said they were delighted with their parent information packs they received from the Paediatric continence service.

Saints RLFC was able to sponsor water bottles to give to the children at the nursery, to encourage good fluid intake and exercise.

A Small Wonders spokeswoman said: “It is really important that we have early education and intervention for young children to help them gain independence and continence.

“If parents are concerned with their child’s continence of any age, toilet training, bed-wetting (over five years), constipation, daytime wetting, or children with delayed development, ring the service or ask health visitor or GP to refer to the Paediatric continence team.”
