Film fans should head down to St Helens Central Library for a Valentine’s weekend treat with a difference ... a rare screening of 80s cult classic The Goonies.
This one-off screening on Saturday, February 13 at 3pm is brought to you by A Small Cinema and the library’s Reading Hack group.
The film is rated 12, so proof of age will be required for young people. Tickets cost £3, £2 (concessions), or £5 (group of four). Book online at www.culturalhubs.eventbrite.co.uk or call into any St Helens library to purchase your tickets.
Cultural Hubs is an Arts Council England funded programme of work which allows us to enliven St Helens’ network of 13 Libraries with performances, plays, gigs, workshops, courses, events and exhibitions.
This fifth programme sees the team again working with local people to choose what they want to see in the borough’s libraries as well as a focus on working with local artists to exhibit their work.
If you haven’t already, sign up to the monthly Cultural Hubs e-zine via www.sthelens.gov.uk/arts or follow the team on Twitter @sthelensarts to hear all the latest news and events.
