Changes to symptomatic Covid-19 testing sites in St Helens

The temporary centre provided bookable tests for people who are displaying symptoms of Covid -19.

Plans are progressing to open a new testing site in the borough to compliment the regional testing site at Haydock Park racecourse and the mobile testing units that move around the borough each week based on the demand and number of cases in each ward.

There will be additional capacity with a mobile testing unit in place at Clifton Street Car Park, St Helens town centre from today(Friday, January 29) up to and including Friday, February 5 alongside testing at Fairclough Street car park in Earlestownon Saturday, January 30.
