The Facebook co-founder launched the social media network from his dorm room at Harvard University before later dropping out to become chairman and chief executive of Facebook Inc.
The renowned filmmaker was rejected from the school of theatre, film and television at the University of Southern California three times, but went on to become one of the most famous directors in the world.
Despite gaining early admission to study at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Gaga dropped out at the age of 19 to focus on her music career. She now has more than 250 music awards to her name.
