Fisher & Dixon are part of Dignity Funerals, who launched the annual Easter Egg Appeal in 2002 to help distribute chocolate gifts to anyone that may not be expecting an Easter Egg this year.

The funeral directors wanted to show their support for the young people that will be caring for someone that is disabled, suffering from poor health or has an alcohol or drug addiction problem this Easter.

Funeral Service Arranger, Joanne Burgess, said: “We would like to thank everyone in our local community that donated an Easter egg and helped us with our annual appeal.

"Our colleagues, clients, local businesses and other visitors to our funeral home were very generous and helped us to donate over 57 Easter eggs to a very good cause.”
