A St Helens-based social landlord has been shortlisted for two industry awards.
Riverside is in line for the Frontline Housing Team of the Year and the Support/Care Team of the Year prize at the Housing Heroes Awards.

Deborah Shackleton, Riverside's chief executive, said: "This year we plan to amalgamate our sheltered and supported subsidiary, ECHG, with Riverside.

"So I am especially delighted to see SPACES – our support for ex-service people – recognised, alongside our community wardens, who do such a fantastic job in supporting our general-needs tenants."

The event is organised by Inside Housing magazine and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), and attracts a phenomenal response with submissions from the length and breadth of the UK.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at London's Hilton Hotel on May 14 to be hosted by TV presenter, Antarctic explorer and Atlantic rower Ben Fogle.
