A stage play with a difference is touring St Helens schools as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of breast-feeding.
The 45-minute presentation is being aimed at younger children to ensure they are influenced at an early age.

During the play, children are encouraged to join in the discussion and show their own knowledge and experience on health matters and child development.

The principles of breast-feeding are being closely linked with learning about and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

It is hoped that as well as showing the importance of breast-feeding in the development of a healthy baby, it will encourage girls and boys to look at this subject in a more mature way.

The scheme is being run by the local Health Improvement Team - a combination of the local primary care trust, the council and the Artzideas drama company.
