Crash on M6

A motorist had a lucky escape after she collided with a lorry on the fast lane of the M6.
The 38-year-old managed to walk out of her car injury free after the back end of her sports coupe was destroyed in the crash.
It took place on the southbound carriageway by junction 23 on Tuesday afternoon (September 2).
The driver of the HGV wagon also walked away unhurt.
Firefighters and paramedics attended the scene and one lane of the motorway was blocked off while the debris was cleared.
