Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson is returning to Billinge to encourage budding young actors.
The TV beauty will be popping into Northern Stars Summer Cool Theatre School - a successful performing arts academy she helped set up last year.

It became so popular with local children they began to run it on a weekly basis.

The classes, organ
ised by Carley's friend, Catherine Rouse, focus on dancing, acting and singing for youngsters from seven to 16 years old.

Carley, who plays Steph in the popular TV soap, and one of her co-stars, Ricky Whittle, who plays policeman Calvin Valentine, are the patrons of Northern Stars.

They will continue to help out in as many classes as they can, finding time in their busy acting schedules.

Carley said: "It is all about fun, it won't be like school! I just think it's a great opportunity for the kids to really have a go in the performing arts world. It will be something totally different."

There are two weeks scheduled, July 28 - 31 and August 4 - 7. The classes will run from 10am to 4pm every day.

For more information contact Catherine on 07764 740 887 or 01942 253242.
Each week of classes, at St Aidan's C of E Primary School, costs £70 per child.
