Police have found a second body in St Helens within the space of 24 hours.
The 24-year-old was discovered last night at around 10pm in derelict premises on Atlas Street, Pocket Nook.

Crime scene investigators are combing the area and firefighters were in attendance.

A police spokeswoman said: "At the moment it is an unexplained death, the scene has been cordoned off and it is under investigation."

On Sunday, 52-year-old Eileen Carney, who had been missing from home for almost two weeks, was found dead in Sutton Park. There are no suspicious circumstances and an inquest is expected to be opened today (Tuesday).
