Armed robbers have targeted a bookies in Whiston.
Staff at the bookmakers on Dragon Drive were threatened by four males brandishing a handgun just before 9pm on Saturday (May 26).
They escaped with a quantity of cash and ran off in the direction of a nearby railway line.
Officers are currently examining CCTV footage from the shop and items left at the scene are being forensically examined.
