Hundreds of veterans, soldiers, cadets and their families teamed up to mark Armed Forces Day in St Helens.
Veterans took a poignant stroll around the war memorial in Victoria Square to mark the day on Saturday (June 27) alongside Mayor of St Helens Terry Shields.

Supported by the local 103 Regiment Pipe Band, the Armed Forces Day was such a success locally that it is expected to become an annual event.
