Luke Walsh has scotched media speculation that his first season at Langtree Park will be his last.

The Australian scrum half, who joined Saints on a two-year deal from NRL club, Penrith Panthers, told the club website that he and his family were going nowhere.

Walsh, who has landed 53 goals, one drop goal and claimed four tries to keep Saints firmly in the title hunt, said: “I’m happy here.

“My family has settled in and everyone is happy. The little fella is happy, too, and I’m in good spirits.

“My wife is also happy and we’re not going anywhere at all.”
