ROYCE Simmons admits he must bring silverware to St Helens or face the boot.
St Helens are currently languishing at seventh in the table having lost their last two games.
And with fans venting their ire at the Australian coach following last Sunday’s defeat to Huddersfield, Simmons knows he has to find a way to transform his side’s fortunes.
“This club has got a great culture,” he said.
“It’s something I’ve learned since I got here.
“It’s got a great history.
“They’re proud of it and they expect to win. They do not accept not winning.
“I’d better hold a bit of silverware up this year or I’ll be on the plane. That’s how things are.
“You’ve got to be a winner or you don’t exist too long. And that’s good.”
