LEON Pryce has pledged to focus all his efforts on Saints now his future is settled.
The influential stand-off will leave St Helens at the end of the season to join Catalans Dragons.
But despite enduring a torid time with injuries over the past 12 months, Pryce is determined to go out on a high.
“It is quite an exciting time for me, with a new lifestyle in a new country,” said the Bradford-born ace.
“But I’m not thinking about that too much at the moment.
“I’ve still got things to do with Saints before I go and I want to finish with them, on a high.
“The fact that we’ve lost the last four Grand Finals is enough motivation and hunger for us to want to win it this year.
“But my leaving does give me a little more determination, knowing that it’s my last chance to win something else with St Helens.
“That’s what I’m focused on.
“Only once our season is over then I can think more about the move.
“I’ve spent some of the best years of my career with Saints, and I will leave them with nothing but good memories.”
Pryce has had to endure a string of injuries over the past 12 months, and is relieved to be back in action.
“It’s just really nice to be part of the team again,” added Pryce.
“When you’re out for so long you are not involved in the team as much, so I’m really enjoying being around everyone again.
“There are so many fantastic players here.
“It’s a great team to be involved with.
“The lads have worked really hard all season to get us into the position we are now in.
“Hopefully now I am back, I can play a part in a good end-of-season run.”
