LOUIE McCarthy-Scarbrook had a double reason to celebrate the victory as he also became a father following the birth of his new baby son.

The blockbusting prop forward, who took over James Graham’s no 10 shirt, and his girlfriend welcomed baby Rudy into the world at Whiston Hospital last week.

“It’s been a great week with the birth of the baby and it’s great to start a family,” he said.

“Keiron and Mike have given the lads the lift we needed and it looks like the lads are enjoying playing rugby.

“We have had two victories in the week which is great leading up to this weekend.”
