RFL chiefs are to look into claims Leeds Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker allegedly used homophobic language in his side’s 13-12 defeat by Saints on Friday.

The 22-year-old England international was banned for five matches earlier this season after being found guilty of homophobic abuse.

If found guilty, he could face an eight-match suspension.

Meanwhile, Leeds Rhinos centre Joel Moon has also been suspended for two matches after an independent disciplinary tribunal found him guilty of making a Grade C shoulder charge on Mark Percival during Friday’s match.

Moon, who admitted the offence, was also fined £300.
