JOE Greenwood has been recalled to Saints first team squad to face Salford after fellow prop Anthony Laffranchi was ruled out for two weeks with injury.

Sia Soliola is also missing after picking up an ankle injury during last week’s Exiles game which will keep him out of action for 10 weeks.

“It is of course disappointing to lose Sia and he has had to have an operation,” said coach Nathan Brown.

“The upside is that it gives another player the chance to step up and stake a claim for a place. Our squad as a whole has gained vital experience throughout the course of the year and I have no doubt we will adapt and continue to develop.”

The full squad for Friday night’s game is:

1. Paul Wellens, 3. Jordan Turner, 5. Francis Meli, 6. Lance Hohaia, 7. Jonny Lomax, 9. James Roby, 10. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, 11. Tony Puletua, 12. Jon Wilkin, 13. Willie Manu, 14. Salford’s squad is:

2. Jodie Broughton, 3. Ashley Gibson, 4. Martin Gleeson, 5. Danny Williams, 6. Lee Gaskell, 10. Shannon McPhearson, 11. Matty Ashurst, 12. Andrew Dixon, 13. Stephen Wild, 14. Wayne Godwin, 19.
