Experienced trio Phil Jagielka, Gareth Barry and Tim Howard will all be missing from the starting line-up Everton deploy in their Capital One Cup tie with Norwich at Goodison Park.

Toffees skipper Jagielka is set for an eight-to-nine-week absence with knee ligament damage, Barry must serve a suspension following his dismissal at Arsenal and goalkeeper Joel Robles will replace Howard in goal, as he did in the previous two rounds.

Tom Cleverley (ankle) and Bryan Oviedo (knee) could both play after being declared fully fit by manager Roberto Martinez, who feels Leighton Baines (ankle), Tony Hibbert (knee) and Steven Pienaar (hamstring) are still a little way away from their respective returns.

Provisional squad: Howard, Robles, Stones, Funes Mori, Coleman, Browning, Galloway, Oviedo, McCarthy, Barkley, Cleverley, Gibson, Osman, Lennon, Naismith, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Kone, Lukaku.
